Wreaths For Weare, Benefit Weare Food Pantry
Wreaths For Weare
How would you or your organization like to do something nice for Weare and at the same time get some recognition, as well as some holiday spirit?
I am sure you all know how difficult it is to make ends meet, especially around Christmas time for some residences of Weare so…..
The Weare Garden Club would like to sponsor “WREATHS FOR WEARE”
On the weekend following Thanksgiving, the Garden Club would display many donated wreaths at the Town Hall and hold a raffle, on those wreaths, to raise money for the Weare Food Pantry. All proceeds would go to that organization.
If you donate a decorated wreath or a garland, your name, or that of your organization, will be prominently displayed. During the open house, holiday music will be played. A scavenger hunt for the children will take them through the display of wreaths and they will be rewarded with a face painting. We hope to offer craft projects as well for the young ones.
This weekend is still in the planning stages, so we need to know if you are interested in donating a decorated wreath of garland.
Please call or e-mail now if you think you would like to participate. I can be reached at 529-7155 or (603) 740-8811. My e-mail address is: pjblackwoo@juno.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for considering this project.
